After leaving Apple, Jobs founded NeXT Inc, a computer platform development company, which was later acquired by Apple in 1997. Jobs was known for his ability to anticipate and shape consumer preferences, and his focus on design and aesthetics. He was also known for his charismatic and demanding leadership style, which was often credited for the company’s success. He was a visionary who saw the potential for computers to be more than just tools for productivity, but also for creativity and entertainment.

Jobs stepped down as CEO of Apple in 2011 due to his health issues, and he passed away on October 5, 2011.
